Das BANFF Film Festival war auch dieses Jahr wieder ein voller Erfolg. Diese Filmfestivals dienen dazu, dass die Bergregionen instand gehalten werden, z.B. durch den Ausbau von Wanderwegen, Vegetationspflege und Renovierungen an den Wanderhütten . Da ich regelmäßig wandern gehe, profitiere ich davon demnach auch, und mit dem Kauf der Theaterkarten trage ich zum Guten bei.
The BANFF Film Festival was again a real success this year - as every year, the purchase of the theatre tickets to the films contributes to the care and maintenance of the alpine region with improvements at the hiking pathways with care for the vegetation and renovations to the backcountry huts. As I am a regular hiker myself, I will benefit from this maintenance and am happy to contribute with my tickets for the best of our beautiful environments.

Ich hatte einen guten Platz erwischt, da ich mit dem Uber Taxi in die Stadt gefahren bin. Am Mittwoch Abend war es stark am Regnen und der Verkehr ist dann immer extrem. Ein Taxi kostete mich fasst das gleiche im Vergleich zu Parkgebuehren in dern Innenstadt an einem Wochentag.
Die Sonntagabend Filmveranstaltung war etwas einfacher mit dem Parken, also hatte ich dieses Mal das eigene Auto genommen,
I had a very good seat as I decided to take an Uber Taxi to the City Centre. It was a Wednesday evening with heavy rainfall means the traffic is always chaotic. A taxi that evening would cost the same as parking innercentral on weekdays and having to walk some distance in darkness.
The Sunday evening film screening was a bit easier with the parking, and this time I took my own car.
Auch wieder ein guter Platz, von dem man schnell rauszippen kann, ohne langes Anstehen und Vorwärtsschieben.
Again a good seat where you can zip out quickly and easily to avoid the crowds and shuffling out later.
