Mit dem scooter unterwegs - scooter tour and viewing point

Am Sonntag war ich Mal wieder eine größere Runde mit dem e-Roller unterwegs. Ich bin in Mt Wellington und Orakei gefahren. Dort gibt es einen leblosen Vulkanberg der perfekte Ausicht bietet:

On Sunday 31 August I decided to go for a scooter ride around Mt Wellington - a dead volcano and Orakei Basin. Good views!

 

Anschliessend bin ich nach Orakei gefahren, dort dann um den Basin herumgesaust

Afterwards I went for a tour around the Orakei Basin

Hier gibt es einen Modellboot Club. Hab ne Weile zugesehen. Es war ein kleiner Parcours für Erwachsene, worum es darum ging mit den kleinen ferngesteuerten Booten herumfahren, allerdings nichts anecken! Später für Kinder nur normales Wasser zum herumfahren der Boote.

Here was a small remote boat club and I watched for a bit. There was a course, not to touch any of the objects, later just a body of water to let their boats go around in circles (mainly the kids)

Dann hab ich mal was ausprobiert: Bin mit dem scooter durch McDonalds DriveThrough und wurde sogar bedient :)

At the end of my trip I drove through the McDonalds DriveThrough and was served hahaa

Gutes Wetter und dann mal los!

Ich hatte einen neuen Radweg mit dem scooter erkundet.  Gar nicht weit von mir.

I explored a new cycle path with the scooter, not far from my place.

AHH new hier geht's nicht weiter!

And nope, not this way!

Aber hier lang.. but here is good!

Uhh, Ende.. also hier nicht am Wasser lang, oben rum dann n Stück an der Straße lang..

Ugh, this is not the right way I'll go the upper way then along the road for a short time.

Anschließend war ich paar neue Sachen kaufen.

Afterwards I went to buy a few new clothes.

Then... I gave Gracie a little stylish haircut as she's getting a bit warm and sweaty.

Dann hatte Gracie einen neuen vor- Frühling Haarschnitt bekommen, dann schwitzt sie weniger

Was für ein schöner sonniger Tag

Dann alle Sachen aufgehängt, immer wieder bin ich happy das ich meine Ute hab (das deutsche Wort fällt mir nicht ein) Nutzfahrzeug? Cargo-Wagen?

Then afterwards always good to see that the space in the Ute is used properly ;)

And afterwards the inner-cabin lounge is set up again

Und anschließend ist das Auto-Wohnzimmer wieder eingerichtet
