Dänemark

Los ging es von der Spitze Daenemarks. Wir sind mit der Faehre von Hirtshals (DK) nach Kristiansand (NOR) uebergesetzt. Dauer etwa 2 Std.

We went to Denmark twice. In the beginning of our Scandinavia tour we took the ferry from the peak of Denmark with 2 hrs transfer to Norway.

In Daenemark - nach unserer Autotour mit Rundreise durch Norwegen und Schweden sind wir hier in Daenemark, Holbaek beim letzten Stop angekommen.

Dies ist der Campingplatz mit der kleinen Unterkunft fuer nur eine Nacht, denn am naechsten Morgen ist ja das Fjord-Überqueren, sog Fjord Crossing in Holbaek an dem ich mich angemeldet habe.

The second time in Denmark on this trip when we came back from Norway and Sweden. This time we drove back through Copenhagen and the rest of Denmark. The last destination was Holbaek for the Fjord Crossing the next day.

Arrival at the camping ground. We hired a small camp site cabin. It was neat and tidy, fully self-contained and an affordable solution for just one night.

Holbaek am Fjord

ich hatte mein Schwimmpaket erhalten mit Timing Chip, Versorgung etc.

On the event day, I received a swim pack with cap, timing chip, some snacks plus water bottle and a T-Shirt

Erstmal den Start checken, wo und was. Die ersten Zuschauer waren bereits da.

All spectators shouted out loud -with all their energy of their lungs- to give us our countdown for the excititing start

Hurra! *** Yay!

Was ein toller Tag! *** What a great day! Totally worth it!

Dann wurde ich nach Zieleinlauf von der daenischen Presse interviewed. Wie spannend!
Ich wurde in der Lokalzeitung, Sportbereich auf der Titelseite veroeffentlicht! Wie aufregend!

After the trip back to Germany we had a stop for dinner at a restaurant. We decided to have a nice fish platter and enjoyed the last hours from the holiday.
