Wochenende mit Ina- Long Bay hike & Eisbad session am Strand

Am Wochenende Mitte Februar hatte ich Ina wiedergetroffen. Sie war auf ihrer Durchreise/Ende der Reise von Neuseeland auf nach Australien. Eine gute Gelegenheit uns mal wieder zu sehen und ich bot ihr mein Gästezimmer an.

Wir hatten viel unternommen wie gewandert, ich hatte ihr Auckland City gezeigt und wir waren zu einer Atemtechnik, Meditation & Eisbad Session die am Strand abgehalten wurde.

Samstag morgen:

Dann waren wir dran! und hoppp

Ich sass am Ende noch etwas länger drin, alle waren schon am einpacken oder bereits gegangen... 
I am still chilling here whilst everyone either left already or packed up to leave.... quite pleasant...

Kleine Stadttour durch Auckland City of sails, die ihren Namen sehr wohl verdient hat mit all den vielen Booten und Jachten. 

Short tour through the Auckland (the City of Sails) deserves its name well with all the boats and yachts 

Long Bay Hike - Wanderung der North Shore Küste entlang

Ina und ich entschieden uns für den Coastal Track (Küstenwanderweg)
We decided to take the Coastal Track

Was sich dann als tolle Aussicht eröffnete war einfach super!
Then we saw the beautiful views - amazing!

Sonntag sind wir zu den Hunua Falls gefahren und dort auch eine kleinere Wanderrunde durch den Wald

On sunday we went to the Hunua Falls, had a shorter hike there as well through the tracks with views

Hunua Falls 

Der Hunua Wasserfall ist 30 Meter tief und Teil des Wairoa Flusses. Er fliesst durch einen alten Vulkan und schlängelt sich durch das kleine Dorf Clevedon.

This 30-metre waterfall is part of the Wairoa River which carves through an ancient volcano as it winds its way north through the township of Clevedon.

Dann sind wir noch etwas weiter gefahren - war ja ein schöner Tag

Kawakawa Bay

Diese kleine verschlafene Bucht ist eins meiner ruhigen Lieblingsplätze. Es ist so ruhig und hier sind nie viele Menschenmassen (wie leider so oft an schönen Tagen, zu viele Leute zu viel Unruhe bringen und den Frieden stören).

This small bay ist one of my favourite places. A little longer drive out but its a quiet place with not many people around. I dislike too many crowds of people, they disturb the peace and harmony with too much noise and music etc).

Barely any soul here - Kaum eine Seele hier
