Waitangi Geschäftskonferenz

Ende Juli war unsere grosse jaehrliche Geschaeftskonferenz in Waitangi.

End of July my company celebrated the annual business conference in Waitangi. It was approx 3.5 hours drive by car and I went with my 3 colleages in the north.

Es war ein super schoenes nobles Hotel wo unsere Konferenz abgehalten wurde. Etwa 3.5 Stimden Autofahrt mit meinen 3 Kollegen an Bord ging es dann los.

XENA, die Kriegerin. All ihre Filme und Serien wurden fuer Jahre in Neuseeland gedreht. Dieses Kostuem ist das original vom Filmset

I had a brilliant idea for my costume for the night: Xena, the Princess Warrior. It was originally filmed in New Zealand and I had the opportunity to hire the original film set costume. The boots are mine :)
This year the conference had a theme: Kiwiana, quintessential New Zealand and I choose Xena.

Dieses Jahr hatte die Konferenz das Motto: Kiwiana - etwas, das typisch Neuseeland darstellt. Alle eingelandenen Mitarbeiter mussten sich in eine entsprechende Kostuemierung zurechtmachen. Hatte ich entsprechend auch.


Am naechsten Tag hatten wir eine Bootstour durch die Bay of Islands zum Hole in the Rock - Felsen mit Loch, angeblich eine heilige Maori Gedenkstaette.

Next day we went my for a boat trip to the Hole in the Rock, Bay of Islands.

Delfine kamen zu unser Boot geschwommen!
