Im Hotel angekommen, durch den Wurmloch Treppenaufgang mit en Koffern rauf - Kevin und ich hatten jeder ein Mini kompakt Raum von etwa 8m² gerade genug Platz um sich umdrehen und den Koffer reinzuziehen. Die Nasszelle it am Fußende.
Arrival at the hotel where Kevin and I wormholed through the stairwells to the mini compact rooms of 8m², just enough room to turn around with the luggage. The shower and toilet is the end of the bed.
Nice coffee machine! ☕🥳
Dinner was just a short stroll away.
Super gute Kaffeemaschine und Abendessen war viel in kurzer Entfernung.

Anschließend beim Japaner essen und dieses mega leckere Getränk genossen! Eine Sauerkirsch-Limonade und ich experimentierte mit dem unbekannten Lotuswurzel süß sauer. Sehr lecker!

A small historic village with flair and small boutique shops and the lake we'll be swimming mostly.

First swim in small groups. I went in straight away and loved it.
Grendon Hall
Hier trafen wir uns nach dem Eis-Schwimmen um gemeinsam zu frühstücken. Ich hatte täglich meine Eier mit Avocado auf Sauerteig Brot

Morgens beim Falcon Lake See und nachmittags beim Stoney Cove welches ein beliebtes Tauchgebiet ist

In the morning our regular Falcon Lake swim and layer that day a second swim at Stoney Cove, a popular diving place
Anschließend warm was gegessen und getrunken was das Herz begehrt

Am letzten Tag... Wassertemperatur unter 3C und See See war zugefroren!

The last day no swim as the lake was frozen with under 3C water temp!

Die Aklimatisier-schwimmen sind abgeschlossen und ich habe ein paar Erinnerungen erhalten.
The acclimatization swims are complete and I received some memories with patches
Es gab Aufnäher, sog. Patches für die Schwimmer vom Team Frozen Ferns, Neuseeland Team und jeweils für die Temperaturen in denen wir geschwommen sind
unter 5C und unter 3C Wassertemperatur
We received patches for our team and each for the water temperature we swam in at under 5C and under 3C

Am letzten Tag waren Rebecca und ich noch ne Runde spazieren und Kaffee trinken, Schwäne besuchen am nahegelegenen See und dann auf zum Zug

On the last day, Rebecca and I went for a coffee and a walk to a lake nearby, saw swans before heading to the train station
Northampton Bahnhof, alle treffen und los geht's nach Birmingham , hotel Ibis.

Letzter Abend in England - morgen geht's dann weiter mit Flug nach Italien
